BT Broadband Accelerators

Depending on the style of BT telephone socket you have, you may benefit from aquiring a BT Broadband Accelerator. BT Broadband Accelerators filter out interference from your home phone wiring to help you go faster. They are free for BT Total Broadband customers and around £10.00 for subscribers to Broadband packages from other suppliers.

 

If your main socket looks like this:		Then it's not compatible but you should be able to ask for a BT engineer to install a face-plate with a built-in ADSL socket (See below)
If your main socket looks like this:		Then you don't need an accelerator, this socket already does it for you.
If your main socket looks like this:		Your socket is already doing the job but an Accelerator may stabilise your connection. Click here.
